Dr. Tamila Shymansky MD CCFP
Dr. Shymansky is a fertility-focused family physician who joined the HFC team in 2026 as part of the Natural Conception Program.
She earned her medical degree from the University of Calgary. She began her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Calgary, completing two years in the specialty before transferring to the university’s Family Medicine residency program. Dr. Shymansky holds certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) and is licensed to practice medicine in Alberta and Ontario, with a clinical focus on women’s and reproductive health.
Throughout her training, Dr. Shymansky received the Resident Teaching Award in recognition of her commitment to teaching medical students and her contributions to clinical education during her Obstetrics and Gynecology training and in clinical practice.
Dr. Shymansky is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and takes the time to ensure her patients understand their reproductive health and feel supported throughout their fertility journey.
Her clinical interests include preconception care, fertility assessment, reproductive endocrinology, and PMOS.
