Meet Dr. Nida Taher
MD CCFP
Dr. Nida Taher is a fertility-focused family physician who joined the HFC team in 2021 as part of the Natural Conception Program.
Dr. Taher began her career as a registered nurse before becoming a physician. She earned her medical degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland and completed her residency in Family Medicine at Women’s College Hospital. During her residency, she simultaneously completed a Master’s degree in Health Ethics at Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Dr. Taher has a strong interest in women’s health and fertility medicine. During residency, she was mentored by Dr. Carrie Schram—an experience that shaped her path to HFC.
In addition to her work at HFC, Dr. Taher continues to practice general family medicine as a locum physician across Ontario.
