Meet Dr. Cassandra De Gasperis

Dr. Cassandra De Gasperis is a fertility-focused family physician who joined the HFC team in 2025 as part of the Natural Conception Program.
She earned her medical degree from the University of Toronto, where she also completed her residency in Family Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Low Risk Obstetrics.
Throughout her medical training, Dr. De Gasperis has been recognized for her clinical and academic excellence, receiving the Clinical Excellence Award from the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Women’s College Hospital/University of Toronto. She was also awarded the Dr. Herbert Alexander Bruce Medal from the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine, and the Dr. E. Anne Beattie Award.
Her research background includes work in obstetrics and gynecology, with a publication in the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Canada which received the award for best oral abstract at the Conference of the Canadian Society for the Advancement of Gynecologic Excellence.
Originally from Toronto, Dr. De Gasperis now enjoys Ottawa’s outdoor lifestyle and can often be found cross-country skiing or hiking in Gatineau Park.
